Remove the cover on the front fork

Remove the screws behind the reflectors

Further screws are located behind the two reflectors. Remove these too so that you can completely loosen the cover.
Unhook the drum brake

Then unhook the drum brake. To do this, loosen the drum brake adjustment screw.
Work carefully so that you do not damage any components of the brake mechanism.
Remove the front wheel
Once you have loosened both nuts, you can remove the front wheel and pick it up.
Put all the loosened parts to one side in an orderly fashion so that nothing is missing when reassembling.
Clean or replace the drum brake
Once you have removed the front wheel, you can replace the drum brake with a new one or clean the brake.
Open the Clean the drum brake and wipe it carefully. Never use a greasy or soapy cleaner. It is best to use a brake cleaner together with paper towels.
Prepare the tire and deflate it completely
To change the tire or inner tube, take the tire and place it on a stable surface or clamp it carefully. Take care not to damage the axle.
Lubricate the tire generously with mounting paste and deflate the tire completely.
Loosen the tire from the rim and remove the inner tube
Carefully place the tire lever on the tire and lift the tire off the rim piece by piece. Then loosen the valve and remove the inner tube.
If necessary, clean the inside of the rim before inserting the new parts.
Fitting a new inner tube or tire
Insert a new inner tube and make sure that it is not twisted. Lubricate the rim and new tire again with assembly paste.
Pull the new tire back onto the rim using the mounting levers.
Inflating the tire and completing fitting
Inflate the tire to approx. 3.5 bar using the compressor. Then, if necessary, release some air again until the desired pressure is reached.
Then remove any remaining mounting paste.
Refitting the front wheel and drum brake
Refit the front wheel in reverse order. Fasten both nuts, reattach the drum brake and refit the cover on the front fork.
Finally, check that all screws are tight and the brake is working properly.
Check the result
After reassembly, check that all relevant parts are correctly fitted and working properly. In particular, check that the front wheel is firmly seated, that the drum brake is working properly and that the tire pressure is correct.
