Tools Required
- Allen set
- Open-end wrench
- Optional: Spray adhesive
- Optional: Hot air dryer
- Optional: Threadlocker, medium strength
Instructions
Remove the rear rubber mat

To remove the rear turn signal, start by pulling off the small rubber mat at the back of the running board.
Remove the side panel

Next, you can remove the trim on that side.
The trim is screwed in place at three points.
Remove the screws securing the trim

Completely loosen the visible screws on the side panel so you can access the turn signal.
Disconnect and remove the turn signals
Now you can disconnect the turn signal and then remove it.
To make it easier to loosen the nut, you can gently heat it with a heat gun.
Install the new turn signal and reattach the fairing
Install the new turn signal, reconnect the plug, and then reattach the fairing.
If necessary, you can optionally use medium-strength threadlocker. The rubber mat at the back of the running board is reattached at the end.
Check the result
After assembly, check that the rear turn signal is properly secured and working correctly. Pay special attention to ensuring that the fairing is securely fastened and that the cables are routed neatly.
