  • 2.5 mm Allen wrench
  • Philips screwdriver
  • Spare part: Mudguard
Before starting, ensure that your VMAX e-scooter is turned off. Work on a stable surface and have all tools ready at hand.

Instructions

Remove Side Covers

Remove rear side covers

Remove both rear side covers. To do this, unscrew the three screws on each side with a 3 mm Allen wrench.

Make sure to keep the screws organized to avoid losing any during reassembly.

Loosen Side Struts

Loosen side struts of the mudguard

Loosen the two side struts of the mudguard with a 2.5 mm Allen wrench.

Loosen Mudguard from Holder Arm

Loosen mudguard from holder arm

Unscrew two screws on each side with a 3 mm Allen wrench that secure the mudguard to the holder arm.

Remove Mudguard

Disconnect connector

Disconnect the tail light connector.

Remove mudguard

Then, carefully remove the mudguard.

Remove Tail Light

Disconnect cable

Remove the cable from the cable guide and then unscrew the screw on the tail light with a Philips screwdriver.

Remove tail light from mudguard

Carefully pull the tail light out of the mudguard.

Insert Tail Light into New Mudguard

Insert and secure tail light

Insert the existing tail light into the new mudguard and secure it with the Philips screw.

Route Cable and Mount Mudguard

Reinsert the cable into the cable guide and position the new mudguard correctly.

First, secure the four screws to the holder arm (3 mm Allen), then the side struts with the 2.5 mm Allen wrench.

Reconnect and Install Covers

Reconnect the tail light connector. Then, mount the side covers on both sides using the 3 mm Allen wrench.

When reassembling, ensure that all screws are tightened correctly and that no cables are pinched or damaged.

Check Result

After reassembly, check whether the tail light functions correctly. Turn on your VMAX e-scooter and check if the light and brake light respond reliably.

Carefully test your VMAX e-scooter after the repair, first while stationary or over a short distance, before using it normally in your daily routine.
