Required tools
- 3 mm Allen key
- 2.5 mm Allen key
- Phillips screwdriver
- Spare part: Taillight
Instructions
Remove side covers

Remove both rear side covers. To do this, loosen the three screws on each side with a 3 mm Allen key.
Make sure to keep the screws safely aside so that nothing gets lost during reassembly.
Loosen side braces

Loosen the two side braces of the fender with a 2.5 mm Allen key.
Loosen fender from mounting arm

Loosen two screws on each side with a 3 mm Allen key that attach the fender to the mounting arm.
Remove fender

Disconnect the taillight connector.

Then carefully remove the fender.
Remove taillight

Take the cable out of the cable guide and then loosen the screw on the taillight with a Phillips screwdriver.

Carefully pull the taillight out of the fender.
Insert new taillight

Insert the new taillight and secure it with the Phillips screw.
Route cable and mount fender
Reinsert the cable into the cable guide and position the fender correctly.
First, secure the four screws on the mounting arm (3 mm Allen), then the side braces with the 2.5 mm Allen key.
Reconnect and mount covers
Reconnect the taillight connector. Then mount the side covers on both sides with the 3 mm Allen key.
Check result
After reassembly, check if the taillight is functioning correctly. Turn on your VMAX e-scooter and verify that both the light and the brake light respond reliably.
