2

Disconnect the rear light connection

Cut open the heat shrink tubing and unplug your rear light.

It's best to tie a piece of thread to the plug right away, so you can pull it through the frame more easily later.

3

Loosen the fender

Then loosen your fender.

If you are riding a VX2, you can skip the next two steps. These are additionally necessary for the VX2 PRO.

4

Remove the motor cover and rubber plugs

Now disconnect the support brace from the frame.

While doing this, hold the nut with the wrench and loosen the screw with the hex key.

6

Pull out the rear light and fender

Now you can pull the rear light along with the fender out of the scooter.

Immediately untie the thread and let it rest in the scooter for now.

7

Dismantle rear light cable and folding hook

Now you can disconnect the rear light cable on the inside of the fender.

If you are replacing the fender, also dismantle the folding mechanism hook now.

8

Install new rear light and pull through the cable

Once you have installed the new rear light or mounted your old rear light into the new fender, you can attach the thread to the plug of the new light.

Then pull the cable through the frame towards the front.

9

Reassemble all components

Then reassemble all elements at the back of your scooter.

Before plugging in the new light, pull the heat shrink tubing over the cable.

When reassembling, make sure that all screws are correctly seated and that no cables are pinched or damaged.

Check result

After reassembly, check whether the rear light is correctly connected and functions reliably. Also check that the fender is securely attached, the support brace is neatly mounted, and the folding mechanism is still working properly.

Test your VMAX e-scooter cautiously first while standing still or on a short distance before using it normally in daily life again.
