  • Open-end wrench 21 mm
  • Allen key 2.5 mm
  • Allen key 3 mm
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Optional: spray glue or hot glue

Before starting, make sure that your VMAX e-scooter is switched off. Work on a stable surface and have all tools ready to hand.

Loosen the front rubber mat

Remove the front centimeters of the rubber mat on your footboard to gain access to the maintenance flap.

Loosen the mat carefully so that it is not damaged and can be reattached cleanly later.

Opening the maintenance flap at the front

Loosen the maintenance flap at the front. To do this, remove two screws at the top and bottom of the footboard.

Disconnect the motor cable

Disconnect the four cables leading to the motor.

Attach a thread to the motor cable

Attach a thread to the motor cable.

The thread will help you to pull the cable back through the cable duct more easily later.

Remove the motor covers

Remove the motor cover on the left and right.

Loosen the motor axle and retaining plates

Loosen the motor axle and the retaining plates.

Make sure that the motor does not fall out in an uncontrolled manner. Hold it firmly and remove carefully remove it.

When reassembling, make sure that all screws are correctly seated and that no cables are pinched or damaged.

Check the result

After reassembly, check that all relevant parts are correctly fitted and working properly. In particular, check that the motor is firmly seated, that the cables are routed correctly and that the plug connections are secure.
