Instructions
Loosen the large screw in the mechanism
If your folding mechanism is very stiff or has some play, you can make the adjustment yourself.
First loosen the large screw inside the mechanism.
Adjust the angle of the hook
Then adjust the angle of the hook at the end of the handlebar using the small grub screw.
If you turn the grub screw in further, the folding mechanism is set more tightly. If you loosen the grub screw, the mechanism becomes looser.
Checking the setting
After adjustment, check that the folding mechanism is neither too loose nor too tight.
The handlebar should lock properly and have as little play as possible, but should still be able to be operated normally.
Tighten the large screw again
Finally, tighten the large screw again.

After adjustment, check that the folding mechanism closes securely and that the handlebars are firmly in place. In particular, check that the mechanism opens and closes smoothly and that there is no excessive play.
