In this guide, we'll show you, step by step, how to replace the display cover on your VMAX E-Scooter yourself.
Tools Required
- 2.5 mm Allen wrench
- 3 mm Allen wrench
- 5 mm Allen wrench
- Small Phillips screwdriver
Instructions
Release the controls on the left

To remove the display cover, you must first slide the decorative tubes on the left and right sides of the display mount to the side.
To do this, loosen the brake lever on the left side. You don't need to remove the screws completely—just loosen them enough so that the components can be moved along the handlebars.
Release the controls on the right

Next, loosen the thumb throttle and the brake lever on the right side so that you can move the components there as well.
Expose the display cover
Now slide the decorative tubes and the detached controls to the side until all four screws on the display cover are visible.
Remove the display cover

Loosen the four screws on the display cover and carefully remove it.
Install the new display cover
Remove the old cover and install the new display cover.
Screw the cover back on tightly, and then return all the controls and the decorative tubes to their original positions.
Check the result
After assembly, check that the display cover is properly in place and that all controls are securely mounted. Also check that the controls on the handlebars move freely.
