Instructions
Loosen the large screw in the mechanism
First loosen the large screw inside the folding mechanism.
This screw serves as the basis for the subsequent fine adjustment of the hook.
Adjust the angle of the hook using the grub screw
Then use the small grub screw to adjust the angle of the hook at the end of the handlebar.
Adjusting the tension of the folding mechanism
If you turn the grub screw further in, the folding mechanism is adjusted more tightly.
If you loosen the grub screw slightly, the mechanism becomes looser.
Tighten the large screw again
After the adjustment, tighten the large screw again.
Then check that the folding mechanism is neither too stiff nor has any play.
Check the result
After adjustment, check that the folding mechanism closes properly and that the handlebar is securely locked. In particular, check that there is no noticeable play and that the mechanism can still be operated smoothly.
