Frequently Asked Questions

Here you'll find answers to frequently asked questions about this repair.

Do I have to remove all the screws to move the handlebar components?

No. As a rule, it's enough to loosen the screws just enough so that the components can be carefully moved along the handlebars.

What should I do if I don't have enough space on the left side?

First, unscrew the turn signal at the end of the handlebar and remove it. Then you can move the grip slightly outward to create more space for the next steps.

What should you do if the new screen protector doesn't fit properly?

Check that the cover is properly aligned and that all four screws have been tightened evenly. Do not tighten the screws on one side only, so that the cover sits flush.
