The good news first: your scooter is a very low-maintenance vehicle. And you can easily carry out maintenance yourself without having to visit a workshop. Just pay attention to the following points:
- Check the air pressure of your tires regularly. The heavier you are, the higher the air pressure should be. If necessary, check your owner's manual to see how much pressure your tires need.
Under-inflation can quickly lead to serious damage that is not covered by the warranty. If you have a low-inflated or flat tire, stop riding immediately.
- Check the screw connections on your scooter regularly. Strong vibrations, especially while riding or during transportation, can cause screws to come loose - similar to the wheel bolts on a car, for example.

- Tighten your front drum brake regularly. The scooter has two independent brake systems. For your safety, it is essential that both brakes are fully operational at all times.
The electric recuperation brake has no mechanical wear and does not need to be adjusted.
If the braking performance decreases even though the brake cable is engaged, the drum may need to be cleaned or even replaced.
- Regular cleaning of your scooter is important to prevent damage. Cleaning is particularly essential after riding off-road or after riding on gritted roads in winter. You can find out what you need to consider for cleaning here in a separate article.
- Make sure that your scooter can dry after riding in the rain. Ideally, the scooter should not be permanently exposed to the weather, but should be kept in a covered and sheltered area. The scooter can be damaged if it is exposed to the elements for long periods.
Especially in the cold season, it is very important for the service life of the battery and motor that the scooter is not stored permanently at temperatures around freezing point.
