What does the error mean?

Error code 24 appears when your scooter's electronic system cannot interpret the signal from the motor. This may be due to a malfunction in the motor, or the wiring between the components may have come loose. 

How can the error be fixed?

To rule out a wiring issue, remove the right side cover on the drive shaft and disconnect the motor cable from the motor for a few minutes. Then reconnect it.
