Required Tools
- Allen key 2.5 mm
- Wrench 16 mm
- Optional: Hot glue or spray adhesive
Instructions
Expose the footboard cover

First, remove the cover of your footboard. Then, unscrew the footboard.
Disconnect the charging socket connector

Locate the connector to the charging socket inside the footboard. Disconnect it and then remove the nut.
Be careful to avoid damaging the cables and connectors.
Remove the charging socket or cover
Once the connector is disconnected and the nut is loose, you can take out the charging socket or the charging socket cover.
Make sure to check the installation position briefly before removing, so the new part fits correctly later.
Insert and secure the new component
Insert the new charging socket or charging socket cover in the designated place and secure it again with the nut.
If necessary, you can optionally use hot glue or spray adhesive if it makes sense for your replacement part.
Reconnect the connector and close the footboard
Reconnect the charging socket connector cleanly and check the secure fit.
Then screw the footboard back on and reattach the footboard cover.
Check the result
After assembly, check whether all affected parts are correctly mounted and function properly. Pay special attention to the secure fit of the charging socket, the clean cable routing, and whether the charging cable can be plugged in correctly.
