Expose the footboard cover

Remove the footrest cover on the VX5

First, remove the cover from your footrest. Then loosen the screws securing the footrest.

Disconnect the charging port connector

Locate the connector for the charging port inside the footrest. Disconnect it, and then loosen the nut.

Work carefully to avoid damaging the cables and connectors.

Remove the charging port or cover

Once the connector is disconnected and the nut is loosened, you can remove the charging port or the charging port cover.

Be sure to briefly check the installation position before removing the part so that the new part fits correctly later.

Insert and secure the new component

Insert the new charging port or charging port cover into the designated slot and secure it with the nut.

Reconnect the plug and close the footboard
