Interview with a scooter-loving family from the U.S.
Jeanette, how often do you use your E-Scooter where do you ride them?
We love our E-Scooter take them everywhere! My husband even plans our trips based on how “scooter-friendly” the destinations are. We regularly drive to Washington, D.C.—which is about 4.5 to 5 hours away—and have also visited several cities in Florida, including Tampa, St. Petersburg, Longboat Key, and St. Augustine.
Where do you live, and what role do scooters play in your daily life?
We live right next to East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Almost every day, we ride our e-scooters across campus or to lunch and dinner. They’ve really helped us rediscover our little town and appreciate it so much more.

How did you come up with the idea E-Scooter a VMAX E-Scooter ?
At first, we E-Scooter rented E-Scooter when we were out and about. Paying by the minute for four people was pretty expensive. When my older son, Evan, was in his first year of college in Charlotte, we bought him his own scooter so he could get around more easily.
Why did you choose this particular model?
My husband spent hours researching. He wanted an E-Scooter that could handle hills, was somewhat weatherproof, had good battery life, went fast enough without being too fast—and most importantly, had brake lights, turn signals, and headlights.
How did it come to be that the whole family E-Scooter ?
After Evan got his scooter, he wanted to give us some for Christmas, too. At first, I was totally against it—spending that much money on us at home seemed ridiculous to me. We have a car, so I figured we’d hardly ever use the scooters anyway. I couldn’t have been more wrong!

How often do you use E-Scooter ?
So often, in fact, that we even bought an extra one. That way, when Evan comes home for the holidays, he’ll still be able to use a scooter here.
Do you have any fun traditions related to your scooters?
Now we collect stickers from all the places we visit and stick them on our E-Scooter. It just makes our trips so much more fun!
Have the scooters influenced other lifestyle choices, such as your car?
Yes, really! A few weeks ago, I had to buy a new car and knew it had to be big enough to fit four scooters in the trunk—even though Evan is at college most of the time.
How would you describe the role of E-Scooter your life today?
They’ve become an integral part of our lifestyle. We have sturdy locks, phone mounts, cup holders, rearview mirrors—and even Apple AirTags hidden behind the headlights.
Have others around you been inspired by your use of a scooter?
Absolutely! A lot of our neighbors and friends are now planning E-Scooter buy E-Scooter too, because they see us riding them so often.
