Your package has just arrived!

We're just as pleased as you are. But before you get started, there are a few important things to consider:

  1. Tire pressure

During the time in the box, the tires may have lost some pressure. Riding with too little pressure can cause a lot of damage to the scooter, as an important task of the tires is to cushion the scooter.
Pump up both tires before the first ride. Depending on the weight of the rider, the tire pressure should be between 2.5 and 3 bar.

  2. Drum brake

The mechanical drum brake of the scooter must be adjusted to your weight before riding.
To do this, turn the adjustment wheel at the bottom of the cable either a little further up (the brake will then grip more firmly) or down (the brake will then grip more gently).

  3. Recuperation brake

The electric motor brake is a recuperation brake. If the scooter is switched off or the motor has a low speed, there is only a very low braking force.
To prevent rolling away on slopes, for example, always use the left combination brake.

  4. C

    onnecting with the VMAX app

Our app provides you with lots ofadditional information about your scooter, such as the mileage of the current trip or your battery status as a percentage, and also gives you quick access to settings such as the riding mode, kick or zero start and the lighting. But don't worry if you don't have your cell phone with you or if you lend the scooter to your friends: The app is a purely optional component of your scooter. It also works without your cell phone.
To connect your cell phone to your scooter via Bluetooth, you need the VMAX CONNECT app for Android or iOS.

  5. Immobilizer

You can easily activate your scooter's immobilizer via the app. Your scooter then locks the rear wheel electrically so that you don't have to worry about the scooter simply being driven by others.
However, you should only use the immobilizer if you can still keep an eye on the scooter. If you move further away from your scooter, we recommend using a sturdy lock in any case. The immobilizer is not an anti-theft device.

  6. Kickstart or Zerostart

This is how we refer to the two starting modes of the scooter. We recommend Kickstart, especially for inexperienced riders. In this mode, the scooter does not start when you simply press the throttle; instead, the scooter must already be rolling. In this mode, you start off as if you were riding a scooter and only operate the throttle when you are already rolling and both feet are securely on the footboard.
In zero start, the scooter starts from a standstill. As the drive comes from the rear wheel, the front wheel can rise into the air if you have your weight on the back of the scooter.
To switch between the two modes, simply go to the app settings. Alternatively, you can change the riding mode by quickly pressing the start-stop button on your scooter four times.

  7. C

    ruise control

The saved speed is indicated by The activation of one of the turn signals or brakes is deleted. To deactivate cruise control, press the on/off button three times again. Only use this function when the vehicle is stationary.
