Error code 22 - False signals from the throttle grip

What does the error mean?

Error code 22 occurs when the electronics of your scooter cannot interpret the signal from the throttle lever. There are many possible causes: either the throttle lever is sending an incorrect signal, it is being misinterpreted by the display or electronics, or the plug connection has come loose.

How can the fault be rectified?

The fault can often be traced back to the plug connection in the handlebar head.
Remove the 4 screws that you connected during initial commissioning and disconnect both cables for a few seconds. Then check whether the error still occurs. If it has been rectified, carefully place the cables back in the handlebars and reattach the handlebars.

If this does not help, then the fault is in the connection between the display and the throttle lever or in the throttle lever sensor. To proceed further, see our instructions for replacing the throttle lever in the repair instructions. Disconnect the throttle lever from the display and reconnect the connector.
