What does the error mean?
Error code 22 appears when your scooter's electronic system cannot interpret the signal from the throttle. There are several possible causes: either the throttle is sending an incorrect signal, the display or electronic system is misinterpreting it, or the connector has come loose.
How can the error be fixed?
The problem is often caused by the connector in the handlebar stem.
Remove the 4 screws you tightened during initial setup and disconnect both cables for a few seconds. Then check to see if the problem persists. If it is resolved, carefully reinsert the cables into the handlebar stem and reattach the handlebars.
If that doesn't help, the problem lies in the connection between the display and the throttle or in the throttle sensor. To proceed, refer to our instructions for replacing the throttle in the repair manuals. Disconnect the throttle from the display and reconnect the plug.
