The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a unique number assigned to your scooter. On most models, you’ll find it on the front right side of the scooter’s footboard. Older models have the serial number and model designation on the underside of the scooter.
In the event of theft, the police—and possibly your insurance company—will ask you for the serial number. Be sure to write down the serial number after your purchase and keep the note in a safe place.
